Instant photo

- Instant photo mode: a square instant print frame with a thicker bottom strip and an instant-film colour filter.
- Drag and zoom to frame each photo, with "Reset framing".
- Frame shapes (Square, Wide, Mini) and frame colours (white, cream, black, blush, mint, sky).
- Handwritten caption on the bottom strip, with ink colour and size, plus "copy to selected".
- Film looks with a strength slider and optional grain, edge darkening and light leak.
- Pinch to zoom on phones, a rule-of-thirds grid while dragging, "Fit whole photo" and "Copy framing to selected".
Changed
- Instant frame and film border can't be on together, so turning one on switches the other off.

Editor improvements

- Remembers your last settings, with a "Reset to defaults" button.
- Save up to 10 custom presets.
- "Hold to see original" before/after view.
- Arrow keys, swipe and ← → buttons to move between photos. Delete removes a photo.
- "Move stamp": tap or drag on the preview to place the stamp.
- Change dates for selected photos (set one date or shift by days/hours), plus "Restore camera date". Camera dates are still used first.
- Save or Share a single photo, and choose High, Medium or Small JPEG quality.
- Progress bar with Cancel for large exports.

- Large scans preview from a smaller copy for speed, but exports stay full size.

- Clearer messages for files that won't open (HEIC, RAW files without a preview) and for photos with no camera date.

Film border refinements

- Rebate opacity slider (0–100%) for the film border.
- Strict roll-start frame numbering: 0A, 1, 1A, 2…
- Random numbering always keeps a whole frame number in the middle, with "A" half-frames on either side.
Changed
- Bottom edge printing redrawn to match real negatives, with arrows under the "A" numbers, varied barcode shapes and clear gaps around the numbers.
- Top edge text moved slightly down.
- Turning on the film border sets the date format to "No stamp".
Fixed
- Sprocket holes are always solid and clear, and no text or barcode marks show inside them.

Film border

- 35mm film sprocket border mode — black film bands with rectangular perforations wrap the photo without cropping or distorting it.
- Bands follow the photo automatically: top and bottom for landscape and square frames, left and right for portrait.
- Vintage yellow edge printing with film stock code, DX-style ticks and frame numbers that run sequentially across a batch or randomise per photo.
- The full composite — photo, border, perforations and edge text — bakes into the exported JPEG.

- Neon Emulsion '95 and Amber Daylight '93 colour presets with matching glow colours.
- Plus/minus step buttons on every numeric slider for easier mobile adjustment.

- Default stamp size is now 2.0 for QuartzLab '99 7-segment LED and 3.4 for every other QuartzLab '99 series font.
- QuartzLab '99 7-segment LED tracking widened to 0.09 em so the LED bars stay cleanly separated.
Fixed
- Apostrophe in QuartzLab '99 series fonts now sits higher so its top lines up with the digits beside it.
